I grew up in multicultural London during the 1970s and 80s, a dynamic time culturally that sparked my curiosity about people, identity, belonging and the different ways we experience the world.
My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by over 30 years of working creatively with people in very different settings. I have a background in film and visual arts nature-based programs with children and young people, alongside personal development work within the corporate world. Although these environments may seem very different, both taught me a great deal about how we adapt, connect, communicate and find our place within groups and relationships.
These experiences have strengthened my belief that wellbeing isn't something that exists only in our thoughts — our bodies, relationships, creativity and connection with the world around us all matter.
All of this informs the therapist I am today: curious, creative and relational, with an appreciation that there are many different ways of making sense of ourselves.
